Where Big Ideas Start on Small Paper

Back of the Napkin

About

Aimee Burke, agriculture sales professional

Welcome to Back of the Napkin! My name is Aimee and my passion is agriculture. As a Boston native, I don't fit the script of your typical agriculture professional. But I believe what's different can drive positive change.

I'm dedicated to helping farmers improve their efficiency, sustainability and profitability. I specialize in providing innovative and effective sales and marketing solutions to teams solving the challenges facing agriculture.

I got involved with AgTech starts ups over 6 years ago and bring over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing. Working in a start up culture has given me the opportunity to make an impact with my customers as well as the teams I work with. Now I'm focused on helping farmers, being an advocate for women in agriculture and mentoring sales teams looking to impact the advancement of the agricultural industry. It takes grit to get in the field and learn from your farmer customers. I've successfully launched new sales territories, dealer networks, and introduced hundreds of family farms to a short list of top notch products, all while getting my Master's Degree in Agriculture and Plant Science at Virginia Tech.

Sarah Mitchell, King's AgriSeeds Inc, PA

In a Sales team, your hunters and farmers can often be further separated as thinkers and doers. Aimee is all four. She has a tremendous work ethic, which affords her the opportunity to actually execute plans she develops. We were a small team at Phylos, responsible for prospecting for new deals and nurturing existing accounts. Aimee was relentless in seeking new approaches to leverage our existing communications systems to hunt for new deals and delight existing customers. Finally, and most telling, her customers love her -- is there any higher endorsement?!

Damon Hess, Phylos Bioscience, OR

Aimee has been responsible for contracting millions of dollars worth of revenue and works tirelessly to ensure those partners and relationships are met with competence and answers every day. She partners well with internal staff to ensure the needs of her customers are met in a timely fashion.

In the face of challenges, Aimee perseveres. Aimee is capable and competent. It has been a pleasure to partner with her, be taught by her, and teach her as we have worked together.
